In your hand luggage, liquids like gels, beverages, cremes and products of similar concern may only be taken through security in a container of a maximum capacity of 100ml. Here, really the maximum capacity is crucial. Containers, with a higher capacity, but only partially filled have to be disposed at the security. All containers must be packed into a transparent, re-sealable plastic 1 litre bag. Only one bag is permitted per passenger. The bag must be completely sealed.
The plastic bag has to be shown without any further notice at the security check.
In the checked-in baggage liquids in larger quantities are still permitted.
Pending further notice, the new regulations are in effect at all airports in the EU, in Norway, Iceland and Switzerland, also for all flights to USA.
Beverages, foams, deodorants, perfumes, pastes (like tooth paste and lotions), shampoos, creams, sprays, soups and sirups, oils and products of similar concern like fluid mascara and lipgloss. Detailed information about the carrying of liquids in your hand luggage can be found here:

Medicines and special foods, for example baby food or food for diabetic, are allowed as befire to be taken on board in the quantity that is needed during the flight. These items are not required to be carried in the plastic bag, though they have to presented at the security check, too.

The bag you are going to use, mustn't exceed the capacity of 1 liter in total. It has to be transparent and reclosable. Freeser bags with a zipper for example are allowed. At the airport Friedrichshafen you have the possibility to buy those bags in the Airport Travel Shop.
There are no limits on liquid Travel-Value and Duty-Free products like spirits and perfumes that have been purchased within the safety area of an european airport or in the airplane of an european airline. Though they have to be carried in a sealed bag. Sealing of the bag takes place at the store. You will also be handed over a reciept as proof that you bought the products at this airport at this day.
That way passengers in transit are permitted to take the sealed products through security at the transit airport. If Travel-Value and Duty-Free products are not carried in a sealed bag (e.g. products bought at airports outside the EU) or the seal is broken, the products are not permitted to be taken trough security and have to be left behind.
