Storage of planes of the general aviation till 5.700 kg MTOW is expected in the apron area 3 or 4 (in front of the control tower respectively to the west of the tower). Handling of the regular air traffic occurs in the apron area 2, thats why storage of the general aviation in this area is basically not allowed. At the moment, the Apron area 1 is operational for planes located in Friedrichshafen, only. A shuttle service from and to the terminal is at your disposal, though shortages during handling the scheduled and charter flights may occur.
